Judgement Day Join Pinback For Two Week Tour
Nov. 29, 2012, San Francisco — Judgement Day, the Bay Area string trio who fuse metal, prog and jazz, join Pinback for a two-week tour kicking off on Jan. 16 at The Hard Rock in Las Vegas.

Judgement Day released Polar Shift in July via Minus Head Records, with the album reaching #23 on CMJ’s Loud Rock chart. Alarm, in describing the new album’s expansion on the band’s debut, said “the darker segments of the album are reminiscent of full-on arpeggio sweeps and layered heavy-metal choruses. But even then, the album speaks to the band’s songwriting depth, with much of it underpinned by classical training and music theory. Fearnet said the band create “a rich and cinematic soundscape” with Ink 19 adding: “unlike so many ‘experimental’ groups, this experiment is a rousing success.”
