A video for the album’s first single, “Your Kisses Burn Like Fire,” a sweaty, boot-stomping outing featuring a growling Grabke and a driving backbone via Mirtschink, premiered today via Noisey (http://noisey.vice.com/blog/the-picturebooks-your-kisses-burn-like-fire-video). Noisey said the pair “show self-appointed Americana gatekeeper Lana Del Rey how the lifestyle is really done. The duo blaze through the desert with a femme fatale on choppers and pickup trucks just for the hell of it à la Easy Rider.”

“Music, skateboarding and motorcycles, that’s all we need,” says Grabke. The pair, who hail from Gütersloh, Germany, are well known in motorcycle circles for their custom creations and the band’s unique working environment that’s part recording studio, skate park and chopper garage. From Dice Magazine to Kustom World, Custombike or Kustom, their bikes are featured in chopper magazines worldwide. Fynn, the son of famed ’80s era skateboarder Claus Grabke, and Philipp have trekked across the European continent for the past four years, combining their passion into a lifestyle that’s reflected in their wall-shaking music.
The Picturebooks play Riot Fest in both Chicago and Denver this September with more North American performances to be announced soon.
